Meet the Team

Dr. Katie Bluhm, O.D. grew up in Iron River, Michigan, a small town in the Upper Peninsula. Her passion for eyes began when she received her first pair of glasses in high school.To fulfil her dream of becoming an Optometrist, she attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth for undergraduate courses and in 2008 she received her Doctorate of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. Because she grew up in a small community with her family owning a small business, it’s natural for her to treat her patients like family. Dr. Bluhm has been practicing in the Central Wisconsin area for many years and is very excited for the opportunity to provide eye care to the Marshfield community. She takes the time to listen to concerns, answer questions and give personalized recommendations to help each patient see their best.

Dr Katie Bluhm lives in Marshfield with her husband, Ben. Outside of the office, you might see her running and biking around the Marshfield area participating in many local events. She also enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and cooking.

Joey Burnett takes pride in providing one-on-one attention to solve your eye health and vision problems. She is dedicated to meeting the vision care needs of our patients.

Joey and her husband Guy live in the Cary Bluff area of Pittsville. They have 3 adult children. In her free time, Joey enjoys time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and playing with her dog Oakley.

Denise Kann lives in the Stratford area with her husband and dog Chance. She is a fundraising coordinator for Marshfield Area Pet Shelter. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and will soon be a grandma. On a summer day you will find her out in her gardens. Winters she will be inside reading a good book or making jewelry

June has been in the optical business for over 40 years as an optician, business owner, and manager of a wholesale optical lab. She is semi-retired and moved back to the Marshfield area working at joey’s optical a few days a week.

She has 2 adult sons and a cat. She enjoys hanging out with family and friends, traveling, reading, and bowling.
